Boss isn't really a boss. No benefits No real training on specifics as far as dangerous or harmful materiel handling. No specifics on how to deliver on extreme or dangerous road ways until after hire and start. Pros Work alone. Definitive route.
Cons Not enough hours on hourly rate and no benefits!!!! Was this review helpful?
Report Share. The weekly pay is literally the only benefit. Constantly understaffed.
Maintenance workers never do anything. Management favors friends. The employees will make up rumors about everyone to pass up time. Very high school drama. Employees that show up late daily never get written up.
Covid (coronavirus) information
They constantly change and delay the breaks and lunch. Pros Weekly pay. Cons Management, low wages, broken equipment, understaffed. I've work for two different locations and the first one was very organized and had up to date equipment to run things. Management was alright, they helped for the most part, but some were very lazy.
The second location, had older equipment that kept shutting off and its hard to get things done that way. Management at this location was very minimal.
They just seemed to stroll around not really caring how things went for the day. Pros Exercise and consistency. Cons Management. Stressful environment make you work sick no benefits only 3 sick days no vacation until you reach a year, high demand due to covid. Very low pay for the amount of stress you put your body through.
Not employed by fedex hired by 3rd party contractor, fired for no reason and almost always impossible to get unemployment. Productive and extremely busy workplace. Working at FedEx was interesting because of the amount of people you see and interact with. The work itself was extremely simple, but the hours were long and the work could sometimes be a bit strenuous.
Pros Decent amount of work breaks. Cons Some of the people you work with hide and avoid work. Do you enjoy working at your company? Help people considering your employer make a good choice. Pros Good money. Cons Bad schedule.

Fedex ground employee reviews in oceanside, ca
I moved to Southern California and got a job with a new contractor. I am constantly dealing with emotional manipulation, disrespect and lack of pay. The only thing that matters to them are the boxes. Warehouse Package Handler. The manaGers are suppose to help the package handlers instead they just stand around talkinG.
But when the higher ups are around they act like they always work on what they need to be doing. Pros Paid every Friday. Cons Everything. A fun place to work, meet new friends and get paid going to the gym. The company is big on safety and quality service.

Personal safety and safety of everyone at work is a top priority on a daily basis. Fedex ground is ran by multiple independent contractors. They each offer different benefits and rules. Contractors also give most of the responsibility to driver managers who with all honestly do not know how to do their jobs. To many people being treated unfairly for not being a managers favorite person.
Childish mangers and very poor management skills they give to those below them. Exhausting work for little pay.
