The Circle of Care is Celebrating 25 years of service to our area families with a host of new endeavors to take our families into the next 25 years as well as two Celebration Events!
Just prior to COVID, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to relocate to a new facility that provides more space while lowering overhead costs. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, we were unable to do a ribbon-cutting to introduce the new facility to the community and our partners throughout the state.
On September 17th, at Noon Eastern Time we will be celebrating 25 years of service to area families and holding a ribbon cutting of the new facility at 14 Medical Park, Valley, AL. This will be a free, fun event for all, and we hope you will us. We have traditionally been funded through a combination of state funds and local support. However, to meet the additional needs in a post-covid world, additional funds are needed.
Eastern Time. Starting in with just a couple of core services and programs, over the last 25 years we have continued to identify resource gaps and develop programs to meet the needs of area families so that they can thrive for generations.
As we look toward the future, we have a new facility that is allowing us launch new programs to meet additional needs regarding family safety, resources. Not only is this standard rate affordable, but the price goes down even further dependent upon income.
For more on our counseling program. Since one way families find financial stability is through entrepreneurship, we work with aspiring entrepreneurs to help them get their business started and accelerate its growth. The first tenant in this endeavor is Searchlight Counseling, which means that additional counseling services are available at our new facility!
In order to better support families who have school-based children, we are launching new programs in partnership with our local schools! We will have staff stationed in schools in Lanett, LaFayette, and Valley to better assist all families in reaching their goals.
Families will be able to access a staff member on school campuses and walk away with a personalized plan and the education, resources, and support needed to take their family from wherever they are to reaching their goals. The community stepped up and began reimagining what could be, and the Circle of Care is excited to be a part of the new Growth Academy.
This is an exciting, high-energy learning environment deed to help our kids find their passion and spur their creativity. Utilizing project-based learning that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Arts, and Athletics, kids will gain the opportunity to find their niche, hone their gifts and talents, and make the connections between their passion and their learning.
Our aim is for kids to learn to turn information into knowledge so that every child is prepared to succeed in school and in life because our kids are worth it!
