But the year-old Seattle native had spent her entire life in Washington and was ready for something new. Thanks to social media, she came across a social organization called Circle Seven Five on Instagram. She likes to tell people that she found a way to make friends in Dallas before finding a place to live.
The North Texas area ranked seventh in the country for millennial moves last year, behind New York City and Chicago, according to a study by Mayflower Moving. More than people a day are moving to D-FW and many of them are young workers hunting jobs.
But keeping the same social life after college can be hard when your circle of friends scatters after graduation. But at 22, she still wanted to socialize with women her age. Although Fischer went to high school in Plano, most of those friends had moved out-of-state by the time she moved back.

Some organizations require several of hours of commitment and have pricey application fees and annual dues. She admits she was worried the business would fail.
But she felt Dallas needed a place where newcomers and locals could form relationships through events and networking opportunities. At her first launch event in Junepeople showed up.

Now, going on three years, Circle Seven Five has about members. The fee varies depending on the of events members want to attend, and it's just for women in their 20s and 30s. Dozens of events are offered each month and include activities like movie viewings, drink socials, do-it-yourself arts and crafts days, book club meetings and networking events.
Transplants to Dallas have found that Circle Seven Five has smoothed the awkwardness of making friends in the adult world. Kiersky now has a circle of friends she can call on at any moment of the day. Before coming to Texas, all Eliora Bruschweiler knew here were two co-workers and her golden doodle, Delilah. Bruschweiler grew up in Tampa, Fla. She hung out with coworkers, but most of the time they would talk about work.
She wanted some separation of work and her social life. Circle Seven Five will be 3 years old in June. Women from all over North Texas have ed and many are wanting events featured in Fort Worth. The first being Fort Worth.
"i didn't know a single person [in texas]. i was little nervous, but it was something that was a goal of mine. i liked where i was, but wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone," kiersky said.
